Hello. I am Caryn I. McLaine, 
writer, photographer, artist, reader, and wannabe tech geek.
As a photographer, I have always been fascinated by the way visual perception influences the understanding of identity, time and memory for either negative or positive. Images are powerful – they can transform mood, influence dreams, and transport to another place altogether. My passion is to create a story or preserve a memory in an image. I love shooting candid street scenes that ask questions or tickle the imagination.
I shoot portraits primarily on location rather than in a studio. I understand that everyone is not comfortable having their photo taken so I will work with my client to find a location in which they are at ease.
